Llandaff Rowing Club is situated in the Cathedral Village of Llandaff, in the north of Cardiff. It’s with easy access for both the M4 and Cardiff City Centre. Llandaff Rowing Club offers ample private parking and disabled facilities, with access by means of a chair lift up to the Function room and Bar area, and a disabled toilet on the ground floor with access from the main entrance.
Llandaff Rowing Club host a variety of functions including Wedding receptions, Engagement parties, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Reunions, Wakes, Christenings … what ever the occasion, we are here to help. The Function room has a capacity of up to 80 seated or 120 standing. It has two large windows which gives the room ample day light during the day. The bar has large patio doors which open onto the balcony with tranquil panoramic views of the River Taff and the soft sound of flowing water going over the weir. The Function room and bar are joined together with large sliding doors which can be closed for two separate rooms or opened to form a large function area.
At the side of the Clubhouse, and next to the bank of the River Taff. is a large grassed area, where you can sit with a refreshing drink and admire the stunning view of the flowing river. It is large enough to have a lawn party or erect a marquee.
The Function room is also available to hire during the day for classes such as baby and toddlers classes, fitness classes such as samba / pilates, board meetings and seminars. The room has an overhead projector ideal for slide shows and a 72″ TV with a USB connector in the bar area.
Our new downstairs fitness room is also available for hire. Ideal for all types of fitness classes and can also be used for group meetings or classes.
